FOREVERMARK ANNOUNCES NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR FOR INDIA

Forevermark, the diamond brand from the De Beers Group of Companies today announces the departure of Managing Director for India, Binita Cooper and the promotion of Retail Manager for India, Sachin Jain as her successor.

During her time with Forevermark, Binita has successfully led the brand to launch with carefully selected partner jewellers in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad, all of which are exciting hubs for this fast growing diamond market.

CEO Forevermark, Stephen Lussier says; "Binita Cooper's management experience, passion and professionalism have played a key part in creating the strong, creative and vibrant business that she now hands to Sachin Jain. We have ambitious plans for Forevermark in India, through 2012 and beyond and Sachin has been instrumental in laying the foundations for them, hence our absolute confidence in him to lead the brand forward."

Sachin Jain adds "We are looking forward to further establishing our existing jeweller partnerships in India as well as expanding into another 6 cities next year with 35 cities planned in total over the next 5 years. We have received a strong consumer response to the brand to date and believe that India will develop as a leading market for Forevermark globally."

Sachin brings strong experience in Sales, Marketing and General Management, gained in his previous roles with Swatch Group and Lladro as well as through his time with Forevermark where he has forged strong relationships with leading retail and diamond industry professionals.
Binita will remain involved in the business until the end of the year to provide Sachin with a full and comprehensive handover, allowing him to start his new role in January 2012.
