Buyers interested in attending the second edition of the Israel Diamond Week in New York, November 11-14, 2013, can now register online (insert link). By filling out a digital form, they will join many American jewelry retailers who will be stocking up on their diamond needs and are eager to gain access to the polished diamond inventories of more than 100 Israeli diamond firms who, together with their American counterparts, will be displaying their goods on the trading floor of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDCNY).
Shmuel Schnitzer, the newly elected president of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE), said the joint initiative of the DCCNY and the IDE would give American diamond buyers a unique opportunity not only to get access to the diamond stocks of the many leading Israeli diamond suppliers who will be taking part, but also, while on the DDCNY trading floor, to forge new, long-term business ties and renew old ones. "New York is the USA's ultimate trading hub for diamonds, gems and jewelry. During the Israel Diamond Week in New York, participating buyers will have an excellent opportunity to interact with 100 diamond manufacturers, traders and suppliers and successfully complete their diamond buying ahead of the holiday season."
Schnitzer noted that the organization of Israel Diamond Week in New York, as well as of similar events at the IDE itself, were all geared to bringing added value to the bourse's membership. "The IDE will continue to develop sales opportunities for its members worldwide. Like any other industry, the international diamond trade operates in the proverbial global village. The competition between the major diamond trading centers is fierce but most often, diamond business deals are not based on the center's geographical location, but on the level of quality, service and professionalism. Next month, at the DDCNY, our members will be working hard to demonstrate Israel's leading position in offering a wide choice of quality goods, combined with top professional service," the IDE president stated.
