Dazzling start to INHORGENTA MUNICH 2019. The international trade fair for timepieces, jewelry and gemstones generates its fourth consecutive increase in exhibitors. A 2.5 percent rise compared with last year as they were 1,052 in 2019. The climax of the opening was a glamorous jewelry show attended by 400 invited guests from the worlds of business, media and culture. Afterward, exhibitors and industry visitors celebrated the opening of the fair together.

Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München, was able to open INHORGENTA MUNICH 2019 with some really good news: The international trade fair for timepieces, jewelry and gemstones continues to grow. The 1,052 exhibitors from 41 countries represent a rise of about 2.5 percent compared with 2018 and, thus, the fourth consecutive increase.

"This is a tremendous success and a strong signal for the industry," said Dittrich, who celebrated the opening of the fair with 400 invited guests, exhibitors, and professional visitors and the band Lions Head. "We are not only the leading trade fair in Germany, but are also among the largest exhibitions for timepieces, jewelry and gemstones around the world."

The highlight of the evening was the INHORGENTA Opening Show. Walking down the catwalk under the motto "Cities of the World," international models presented exclusive clothes in combination with jewelry from the labels Marco Bicego, Breuning, Davite & Delucchi, IsabelleFa, Fabio Collection, Gellner and Gust. Hauber, Jörg Heinz, Henrich + Denzel, Marion Knorr, Hans D. Krieger, Maboussin, Meister, Schwab Gold- und Platinschmiede, Georg Spreng and Leo Wittwer. The show was complemented by an impressive music and light show by artist Betty Mü.

The glamorous evening gowns came from the high-end collection of haute couture designer Galia Lahav. Under the watchful eye of her mother Natascha, Cheyenne Savannah Ochsenknecht, the daughter of actor Uwe Ochsenknecht, displayed noble jewelry made by IsabelleFa.

The guests included Zoe Helali and actress Bettina Zimmermann, who will present the INHORGENTA AWARDS 2019 on February 24, as one of the nine jury members.
