13 Members of Mandalay Gold Entrepreneurs accompanied by the Representative of GJEPC, visited Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) on 18th December 2012.

They were briefed by Col S.K.Arora, (Retd) Head of the Institute, and taken around the Institute by Dr. R.K.Avasia, Head-Training, Mr. Uttam Das, Head-Manufacturing Department & Ms. Priyanka Tarkar, Assistant Head-Design Department. They were highly impressed with the State of the art training facilities available at IIGJ. The purpose of their visit was to understand various facilities available for training in the sector of Gem & Jewellery industry.

After going around the Institute, Mr. SoeMyint Than- Advisor, expressed his best wishes for the Institute, and commented in the Institute “Visitors Book” “Very good trip to India, Our group have 13 people, thanks a lot for receiving us as a study tour. We gained very good knowledge regarding Gold, Gems and Jewellery and especially Diamond Sector. We will share our valuable knowledge from your esteemed organization to our own country!
