Riding on the success of its first fair, the Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair is set to radiate the halls of the Sands Expo and Convention Centre once again, from 23 to 26 October 2014 .
The biggest and most significant fine jewellery marketplace in Singapore and the region, the fair will present over 200 exhibitors and occupy more than 10,000 square metres of exhibition space. The main fair comprises country pavilions featuring a wide assortment of fine jewellery as well as loose gems, diamonds and pearls, from acclaimed jewellers from Belgium, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Thailand, USA and the world over.
Marked at irresistibly attractive prices ranging from hundreds to millions of dollars, the massive jewellery collection under one roof promises a piece of treasure for everyone, whether one is a business trader, private collector, jewellery connoisseur or deal hunter. To appreciate visitors for their support, UBM, the organiser, will also hold daily lucky draws with up to SGD$10,000 worth of cash vouchers to be won.

The largest marquee at the fair, the Exquisite Pavilion will glamourise the halls, housing some esteemed international brands in jewellery and gemstones, such as L.J. West Diamonds, Massimo Raiteri, Uchihara and Windsor Jewelers. Set amidst the lush and prestigious settings, the Exquisite Pavilion is renowned for phenomenal and ethereal jewellery pieces, exceptional timepieces and other dazzling collectibles.
One such stunning masterpiece at the Exquisite Pavilions, available for purchase at SGD$3,125,000, is the Kimberley Red Diamond Ring (right) by Glajz-Thg, a company based in Singapore, which features a rare purplish red diamond, accented by white and pink diamond, and set in platinum and 18k white gold.
The fair will also bring the finest of vintage jewellery at one venue, by showcasing the most mesmerising and extraordinary treasures that only time can create. From private collections to estate fine jewellery, these unique antique masterpieces handcrafted from platinum, gold, and silver and accentuated with diamonds and precious stones all have glorious heritage and history to their names.
Singapore's first dedicated vintage jewels and objects retailer, Revival Vintage Jewels & Objects, will be showcasing a pair of diamond and sapphire "Gloxinia" ear clips by Van Cleef & Arpels, circa 1950. Singapore Jewellery & Gem Fair Design Awards.
On the opening day (Thursday, 23 October 2014), the Singapore Jewellery Design Award (SJDA) will also be presented at the fair, to recognise young jewellery designers for their talent, to provide a public platform for them to display their designs and skills and to open up pathways to the jewellery retail market.
Themed "The Most Important Day of Life", the competition required design students to create a piece of jewellery for the most important day of his or her life in three different periods - the past, the present and the future.
