Diamond Services Ltd., the Hong Kong-based firm that markets cutting-edge technological solutions to the diamond, gem and jewellery industry and trade, will push the launch of its diamond screening service forward to coincide with the US & International Diamond Week in Israel that will take place April 6-10, 2014. The new diamond screening service is offered by means of Diamond Services' proprietary DiamaTest device, a new, accessible and affordable tool that significantly lowers the threshold for diamond companies to screen for synthetic diamonds - both loose and mounted.
"The diamond industry is in dire need of affordable, fast and easy services to screen for synthetic diamonds," Yossi Kuzi, owner of Diamond Services, noted. "Next month's prestigious US & International Diamond Week in Israel is a great opportunity to introduce the DiamaTest service to a large number of members of the international diamond industry and trade," he said.
The DiamaTest diamond screening services will be provided by DLA Ltd., Diamond Exchange complex, Noam Bldg., Suite 512, tel. 03-6128090, internal tel. 26211. The DiamaTest device was first introduced during the recent International Hong Kong Jewellery Show. After its launch in Israel, additional service stations will become operational worldwide.
"A well known industry commentator wrote recently that 'the key to resolving the challenges presented by synthetic diamonds is our ability to differentiate natural diamonds from synthetic diamonds' and that we need to employ the 4Ds: Differentiation, Detection, Disclosure and Documentation. We hope to be making a significant contribution toward that important goal," Kuzi noted.
